#swinprofexp: Professional engagement on Instagram
This online initiative encourages preservice teachers to share their experiences of, and resources from, professional placement and connect with other students and teachers through the Instagram hashtag #swinprofexp.

The Global Experience Program
Funded by the New Colombo Plan, this is an immersive 15-day overseas placement opportunity for preservice teachers to work with a mentor and develop their pedagogical skills while connecting with the local community.

Swinburne placement students to receive financial support
Eligible Swinburne students will soon be able to participate in a new government payment scheme to help ease the financial burden associated with unpaid placements. The Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) is a $331.65 weekly payment for the duration of mandatory, unpaid placement, available from 1 July 2025.
